Take the subjects we need in life
|

I think school hours should be shorter because half of the class we take we don't need them in life. We should take the basic and then go home or work. Like science we really don't it inless you going to deal with science as your career. History you may need if you want to deal with history. Math we need because people usely work dealing with money.English you need because most of the jobs is dealing with reading and writing.

If it's broken, fix it don't throw it away!

If your complaint is that you arn't learning the right material, your mission should be to reform the curriculm, not shorten school hours.
Firstly you don't want you or your countrymen to be seen as educationally deferior to other countries graduates, leaving big businesses in your country to recruit from overseas, but that's not the real issue.
School, as you rightly point out, should prepare you for work, shortening the hours wont do this as most work place will expect more from you than your school does.
If you feel passionatly that your curiculm is not meeting the needs of modern children, campaign your local politions about it, do something constructive. Don't argue for measures that would leave you under-educated, under-employable, and totally unprepared for life.
