Vote No To Anime
Here in America, we live in a climate of moral decay. What is the cause of this? It is called "anime". Anime is a perverse, evil, insiduous form of animation from the dark land of Japan, and is corrupting America's youth at unprecedented rates. If you are a parent or a decent human being, I urge you to support the ban on anime. Anyone who is found in possesion of anime should be arrested and jailed for an infinite period of time. Anime is a dark scourge upon our beautiful nation, and we don't need this Japanese filth corrupting the hearts of the children.

As a resonsible american, I demand to see this garbage removed from our nation.

What the Heck!
I just have to say one thing or maybe a few more. People who don't like anime have never seen it or they have watched really crappy ones. Japanese animation is one of the ways that Japan can show their spirituality through the ways of their characters. If its banned from America it's like saying that their not suppoesed to want to share their beliefs, which goes against what the Americas stand for. Also. some of the series that I have watched have been really good. It's almost like a reading a book except it is right before your eyes. If people are afraid about what anime is good or bad or what their children should be watching, That is where ratings and the responsibility of parents comes in. They don't put ratings on a DVD or movie for nothing. For all that it is worth anime deserves to stay and continue. For people that don't like it, that's just to bad.

This is the place for debate with an added element of friendly competition. This is a debating and essay resource and practice tool, not a debating society or club. There are no complicated rules, but these debates have structure. Each debate consists of a topic with two opposing views.

These are short essays limited to about 150-165 words. Present your strongest argument the first time, since you can't go back to change it--as with the National Forensic League and other speech and debate formats. Read these debates, then vote for your favorite arguments.

These debates are fun, informative and give exposure to all sides of the issues. Most debates will be archived (arguments that are obscene or offensive may be deleted). The better and more interesting debates will be featured.
