Show me some REAL science and maybe I'll listen

You can believe what you want to. However church goers really do *gasp!* know what they're talking about. Just because more evidence for evolution is PRESENTED to the public, that does not make creationism fiction in any way shape or form. Those who stop listening to the Bible are DOOMED! "The fool says in his heart, 'there is no God.'" The evidence for God is painted across the universe, yet man repeatedly ignores it. I, for one, find it particularly compelling that evolutionists can't seem to back up the way their theory works with REAL science. Despite what may people say, there really is no physical evidence of evolution in todays world. Mutations don't cause evolution, they cause things to get worse. Natural selection adds no new genes to the gene pool, and therefore, this is not evolution. And punctuated equilibrium: You believe that, but you reject the creation story? That's just ignorance.

Ignorance is not criticizing creationism, it's NOT questioning your faith.

This is why you can't debate fundamentalist Christians. 1)They are absolutist in thinking, every issue is framed in black-and-white good vs. evil terms (not open to the *evolution* of ideas); 2)Because their arguments are premised on "us-versus-them" rhetoic (people who agree with us are correct because they are "with us" and people who disagree with us are "against us"); and 3) Creation is based on unquestionable faith; faith is NOT the search for proof. Science, however, requires evidence and established facts open to change. According to KJ's argument just because one questions his brand of Christianity, they are DOOMED?! Evidence is painted across the universe? No, it's based upon who/what you think created it! So, if you think "God" created it, then he/she/it did...IN *YOUR* MIND! Just because you think (believe) it's so DOESN'T mean it's that way/has to be that way for everyone else. Finally, when I can teach biology in your church, you can teach fundamentalism in public schools.
